Forget you not!

By Kurt Zahrt

Do you remember who you forgot last year? Have you forgotten people you could have easily remembered... had you taken the time?

Michael Corbett, in his best-selling book The 33 Ruthless Rules of Local Advertising, tells us why:

"People make decisions to purchase goods and services in the subconscious mind. The easiest way to get through the conscious mind and into the subconscious mind is by repetition. The objective is to inform, persuade, and remind. Remind people in a way that generates consistent growth as you inform and persuade them..."

He goes on to say that people forget what you tell them.
Even if you spoke to them last week, they need to be reminded of your name, where you live, what you do, and why they should remember you. If you don't, you're yesterday's news...and yesterday's news is forgotten quickly.

Remember to remind them.
